Hi, I’m Carlo, a Chester-based restaurant photographer.

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2010, and I’ve focused on food and restaurant work since 2019. In that time I’ve shot 175+ sessions at 48 restaurants and pubs across England.

How I work

No fuss, no staging everything to perfection. I photograph your kitchen and your dishes as they are: real moments, real plating, real dining room. Clients regularly tell me the kitchen team didn’t even notice me working, even during a packed service. That’s by design: I blend into your rhythm instead of interrupting it.

Where it comes from

I started in photography at 14, developing film in a makeshift darkroom at home. Photography has stayed a constant since, alongside a full engineering career, which is where the precision and the habit of getting things right without making a fuss about it come from.
