Menu Design

One person, start to finish: the photos and the menu that uses them.

I don’t just hand over photos and leave you to find a designer. I photograph the dishes, design the layout, and deliver print-ready menus, so the food, the words and the print all match.

How it works

  1. Photoshoot: either during service or with specially prepared plates (see Food Photography)
  2. Design: we agree layout, text and page count together; I build a draft in your style and we refine it
  3. Print: I handle printing and get you the exact number of copies you need

Three formats, three different needs

Stapled booklet

A4 · laminated cover · up to 20 pages

The most affordable option, best for menus with a lot of dishes or several sections. Trade-off: it doesn’t wipe clean and won’t last as long as the other formats.

A3 folded

A3 · 350gsm · folds compact

Works well for shorter menus where you want something with a bit more presence than a booklet.

Laminated pages, wire-bound

A4 pages · laminated · metal wire spine

Individual laminated pages, bound with a metal wire spine. I do the binding myself. Durable and easy to wipe down, with pages that can be replaced individually when you update a dish or a price. A good fit for menus that need to survive a busy kitchen pass.

Pricing

Menu pricing is based on the number of dishes and the format you choose. Get in touch for a tailored quote.

Reprints & updates

Your menu will change: new dishes, new prices. When it needs updating, I handle the edits and reprint, so you’re not starting from scratch every time.
